Great signs from this bunch of nice mostly old, mostly white people
Fun on our local Bothell, Wa No Kings Day June 14, 2025. Here I am waving my flags, along with a pack of other older types like myself who lined the streets of downtown Bothell, Washington, on Saturday morning, June 15.
The most fun I had that day was singing along with a guy playing his guitar. Course no one could hear us belting out Beatles lyrics or John Denver tunes for all the traffic going by. Just as well, I wouldn’t not have done it if I Didn’t even take his picture or get his name, but he was out there strumming away. Silly me thought I could get others to sing along with us, but with the traffic and slogan shouting, not a chance. Was fun anyway. And then on Juneteenth I watched kids dance at the local high school. All in my adoped home town for a while, not for a lifetime.
